Sabrina Jalees Hosts Farming For Love Season 2

Canuck comic/actor/writer Sabrina Jalees is back with season 2 of the CTV rural dating show Farming For Love. According to a recent article on ca.news.yahoo.com Jalees teased that this summer things are about to get a lot hotter on the Canadian version of the international franchise. “There’s a lot more steam coming off of Season 2.” She went on to explain, “I like to think of Season 2 as the second date with Farming for Love. First date, everyone’s buttoned up, everyone’s wearing their perfume, they’ve got their gelled hair. Second date you’re ready to open mouth kiss, & that’s what we’re ready to do with Canada.”

One difference this season is the inclusion of a gay farmer amongst the cast. Kirkland is a farmer & rodeo champ from B.C. Commenting on adding an element of diversity to this season’s crop of participants Jalees said, “Seeing a gay storyline mixed into a show that’s just about love, it’s not about gay love. Oftentimes it’s got to be this specific queer angle & it just felt so rewarding to be a part of a show that is about people finding love, where there happens to be a gay farmer on it.”

Season 2 of Farming For Love premiered May 29th. Episodes air Wednesday nites @ 10PM on CTV.
